I learned to speak in words, which means I learned to lie in them too.

Language gave me the ability to mask my sincere feelings, reign in my honest questions, and play down my uncertainties.

 

It wasn't until I discovered the visual language of collage that I became able to name and navigate the subtleties and complexities of the mind and heart. 

 

That's why I'm passionate about facilitating creative, reflective spaces that empower others to explore their own visual language. 

I've hosted collage workshops for parents, caregivers, toddlers, senior adults, and teens.

 

In each workshop, I invite participants to experiment with a variety of materials, discover how images and textures can convey emotions, and practice fundamental cutting & arranging techniques so that they might gain the confidence to express themselves visually.

Of course, all this occurs alongside others in a supportive and inspirational environment.
